For those of you who don’t know, what is the Capital Pride Parade?
Well, the event’s organizers say it best: “The Pride Parade is always a high point of Capital Pride Week. It is the community's opportunity to express freedom, gratitude and pride for being able to live together in harmony. Show your energy, enthusiasm, humour, creativity, colour and, above all, your pride! See their website (http://www.capitalpride.ca/) for more.
This year, the parade will be held on August 29 at 1 pm. Marchers are asked to arrive no later than 12:15.
The NCVA invites its members (and anyone else who is pro-veggie/pro-pride) to march in the parade. Here’s how to participate:
1) Email Erin O’Sullivan at satelliterobotAThotmail.com to say you want to march.
2) Show up at no later than 12:15 on Sunday August 29th at the parade assembly site.

Garden of Provinces and Territories
It is bordered by Wellington St., Sparks St. and Bay St.

3) March! The parade departs the assembly site at 1pm and lasts about an hour.
